The vision for the dmZ (standing for demilitarized zone) is fir it to become a refuge for teens where they can find safety, fun, recreation, tutoring, mentoring, fellowship, and encouragement, with many opportunities for positive interaction with other teens.
The center contains:
-Nintendo Wii w/a wide assortment of games
-PlayStation 3 w/a wide assortment of games
-XBox 360 w/a wide assortment of games
-Two 42” HD Plasma Televisions
-LCD Projector
-Two 8’ grade Pool Tables
-Ping-Pong Table
-Dome Hockey
-Four Computers w/ Internet Accessibility
-High Quality Sound System
-Outdoor Basketball Court
Only Christian and teen appropriate music, video, and TV programming is allowed.
We always have drinks and snacks available every day, along with a soda machine and snack vending machine!
The dmZ drop-in center is open Monday through Friday from 3-6pm on school days and 1-6pm when school is closed, and during the summer.
The S.A.Y. (Salvation Army Youth) What? Youth Group is a teen Bible Study held after the dmZ drop in hours on Monday from 6 to 8pm with a light dinner served.
